Maintenance release for ACAD, ACAD LT, BCAD, BCAD Lite, DCAD and MCAD, with the matching v1.6.1.44 installer, updater and uninstaller. Corrects saved Global Asset Attributes failing to open or prefill when drawing JSON spans multiple CAD text values. Every text segment is now read, and new presets are written as compact, safely sized segments. The same correction covers legacy global presets, project attributes and asset attribute presets. Incomplete saved data is handled without an unhandled JSON error. Completed values are recovered, missing values are flagged for review, and the original unreadable record is preserved in a separate drawing backup before replacement on save. Missing or truncated values cannot be reconstructed and may need to be entered again. All previous fixes are retained, including complete XML attribute ordering, BCAD rising main linetype resolution, DCAD startup/session routing and the dedicated panel icon. DCAD continues to use the installed .NET 8 Desktop Runtime x64 without a bundled runtime. Automated build and delivered-package regression checks passed. The isolated BricsCAD native database probe timed out without producing a result. Confirmation on the affected customer drawing and interactive CAD-host acceptance remain outstanding.
