General Hotfix Release

Text backup
  • Automatic recovery through the standard installer.
  • Keep all six editions, the installer launcher and interface, each updater/uninstaller and the MCAD ribbon setup helper at v1.6.1.46.
  • Use the ordinary installer for recovery, including repeated reinstalls of the same build.
  • Validate downloaded product and build details before replacing installed software; reject packages older than the installer and mismatched MCAD setup helpers.
  • Require all six matching packages and automatic reinstall, startup and rollback checks before producing the installer.
  • Preserve customer licence, profile and project files during software replacement.
  • Asset Edit profile recovery: Recover missing/corrupt immutable package caches from the exact installed profile revision. Preserve the drawing binding and installed source package, reject mismatched revisions and identify the required profile when unavailable.
  • Optional structure Nil export: Save unchecked structure selectors as an empty parent marker and export xsi:nil="true", including Surveyor and Engineer. Normalize previously saved false structure markers during export, suppress inactive children and retain genuine scalar boolean values. Require actual-emitter Nil regression checks before packaging every edition.
  • Profile downloads: Bound response waits and periods without download progress; restart stalled, interrupted or incomplete transfers automatically and report the affected profile after retries fail.
  • Profile installation: Keep verification/copy work off the interface thread, display the current stage, preserve previous profile files on cancellation or failure, and restore earlier replacements if a later selected profile fails.
  • Profile errors: Identify the receiver/profile in download and file-access failures instead of leaving an unexplained stalled progress display or generic failure.
  • Runtime log naming: Use MCAD, ACAD_LT, BCAD_LITE or DCAD filename prefixes according to the actual entry point, including log creation before Lite update/licence configuration.
