infrADAC MCAD

infrADAC MCAD 1.5.6.25 corrects native ADAC conversion in MAGNET and Topcon Office, preserves the original native ADAC information and improves conversion completion messages. This update applies to MCAD only. Conversion retains the original native ADAC records alongside the converted infrADAC information. Some job size increase is expected because both are retained. Existing drawing geometry is used for conversion; records referencing deleted geometry are retained and identified for review.

  • Conversion results use the infrADAC custom message box, explicitly owned by the MAGNET/Topcon window and activated when displayed. Results remain modal until dismissed.
  • Successful conversion displays Conversion Complete with a success icon. Conversion containing retained records that need geometry repair displays Conversion Complete: Review Required and identifies the affected ADAC IDs. Failures display Conversion Failed.
  • Conversion message titles use title case.
  • Conversion checks that the installed native bridge supports preservation of native ADAC storage before proceeding. An older bridge requires an update and MAGNET restart.
  • Native asset values and drawing object links are verified before the converted ADAC settings are committed. Existing populated infrADAC project values and the export target are retained.
  • Removed database compaction from the conversion action. Compacting MAGNET's open database invalidated its cached object reads and could prevent conversion from completing or saving ADAC settings correctly.
  • Removed conversion side rewriting of native ADAC text buffers. Original native ADAC records are retained unchanged, including records linked to deleted geometry.
  • Corrected native ADAC settings lookup and persistence, including existing metadata stored in older attribute layouts. Native write failures now report more specific diagnostic information.
  • Corrected the conversion result dialog's ownership so it does not attach to a hidden background infrADAC window. Ordinary successful conversion is no longer labelled as an attention warning.
