Account handles sign-in, email verification, trial and Map Pro entitlement. Settings manages theme and map display preferences; standard light and dark themes are available, while premium appearance options depend on account access.

2Account and local state
Entitlement comes from the account service; personal layout preferences remain in the browser.

3Set up the account
Verify identity and entitlement first, then save display preferences.
Open Account
Review the current sign-in and entitlement state.
- Open Tools and choose Account.
- Sign in or create/verify the account as required.
- Review Free, trial or Map Pro status.
Manage access
Use the offered account controls.
- Start an eligible trial or follow the Map Pro subscription route.
- Refresh the session after entitlement changes.
- Sign out on shared devices.
Set display preferences
Preferences are stored in the browser where supported.
- Open Settings.
- Choose system, light or dark theme and available display settings.
- Confirm the map, panels and controls remain legible.

The task is shared where possible, but selection, interface integration and model operations follow the host shown below.
Free account and standard theme controls are available.
Map Pro entitlement enables premium XML tools and any current premium appearance option.

6Troubleshooting
Map Pro tools remain locked after purchase or trial
Sign out and back in or refresh the account session. Confirm email verification and the entitlement shown in Account before contacting support.
Theme resets
Allow site storage and avoid private browsing for persistent preferences. System mode follows the operating-system theme.
The interface becomes unreadable after a theme change
Switch to standard light or dark mode and refresh. Report the exact browser and control that lost contrast.
